2004 AMENDMENT OF THE UNIVERSITY CREATION DECREE
Executive Decree No. 04-253 of 29 August 2004 amending and supplementing Executive Decree No. 98-189 of 2 June 1998 establishing the university: the faculties of the University of Boumerdes are (Faculty of Science, Faculty of Engineering Sciences, Faculty of Hydrocarbons and Chemistry, Faculty of Law and Commercial Sciences).

2006 ESTABLISHMENT OF THE FACULTY OF LAW AND THE FACULTY OF ECONOMICS, MANAGEMENT AND BUSINESS SCIENCES Executive Decree No. 06-270 of 16 August 2006 amending and supplementing Executive Decree No. 98-189 of 2 June 1998 with the establishment of two other faculties: the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Economics, Management Sciences and Business Sciences.

2010 AMENDMENT OF THE UNIVERSITY CREATION DECREE
Executive Decree No. 10-15 of 12 January 2010 amending and supplementing Executive Decree No. 98-189 of 2 June 1998, establishing the University, in accordance with the provisions of Article 3 of Executive Decree No. 03-279 of 23 August 2003 : the number and purpose of faculties and institute of the University of Boumerdes are fixed as follows (Faculty of Science, Faculty of Engineering Sciences, Faculty of Hydrocarbons and Chemistry, Faculty of Law Faculty of Economics, Business and Management Sciences and Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineering).

2019 AMENDMENT OF THE UNIVERSITY CREATION DECREE
Executive Decree No. 19-204 of July 18, 2019 amending and supplementing Executive Decree No. 98-189 of June 02, 1998, creating the University, in accordance with the provisions of Article 3 of Executive Decree No. 03-279 of August 23, 2003: the number and the vocation of the faculties and the institute composing the University of Boumerdes are fixed as follows (faculty of sciences, faculty of technology, faculty of hydrocarbons and chemistry, Faculty of Economic, Trade and Management Sciences, Faculty of Law and Political Science, Faculty of Letters and Languages and Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineering).

2022 AMENDMENT TO THE UNIVERSITY CREATION DECREE: CREATION OF THE INSTITUTE OF APPLIED SCIENCES AND TECHNOLOGY
Executive Decree No. 22-118 of March 17, 2022 amending and supplementing Executive Decree No. 98-189 of June 02, 1998, establishing the university, the number and vocation of the faculties and institutes composing the university of Boumerdes are set as follows (faculty of science, faculty of technology, faculty of hydrocarbons and chemistry, Faculty 8 of Economic, Trade and Management Sciences, faculty of law and political science, faculty of letters and languages, Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineering and Institute of Applied Sciences and Techniques).
